Scamflare was founded in 2023 by Dr. Robert Chen, a cybersecurity researcher who witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of online fraud. After his elderly mother lost her life savings to a sophisticated phishing scheme that mimicked her bank's website perfectly, Dr. Chen realized that traditional security tools weren't enough to protect everyday internet users.
The incident revealed a critical gap in online safety: while enterprise-level security solutions existed, there was no accessible, real-time tool for regular users to verify website legitimacy before it was too late. This realization became the catalyst for Scamflare.
Dr. Chen assembled a team of former security professionals from Cloudflare, Microsoft, and the FBI's Cyber Division. Together, they developed FlareScore™, an AI-powered algorithm that analyzes over 50 security signals in real-time to provide instant website safety assessments.
